Are you unemployed? Furloughed? Fed up with your current job? Ready to return to work after having a baby?
Do you have an idea for a business? Would you like to be your own boss, but aren’t sure what sort of business you might set up?
Join us to explore whether you could turn the things you like doing best, into a business that could help other people and make a living for yourself. We’re not talking about a magic way to get rich, but a more realistic opportunity to set up a business which is good for people and the planet.
Setting up your own business takes time, energy and determination. Maybe this is the time for you to find out if you could do it.
You may have heard of businesses which are described as a Social Enterprise but don’t know what this really means. We will explain this and much more.
You will hear from 2 local ‘experts’, and 4 local people who have already set up their own social enterprise businesses here in Torbay.
There are just 16 places on each of the workshops, so register quickly to save yours. If you find you won’t be able to come after all, please let us know by emailing jennifer@localsparktorbay.org then someone else can join us. If you find both workshops are fully booked email Jennifer and we’ll see if we can run another one.
